To conserve energy, the company recommends that customers take the following steps:

Company crews are ready to respond to any power problems that may occur. If customers lose power, they should call Con Edison's toll-free customer service number 1-800-75-CON ED (1-800-752-6633), or report it online at www.coned.com. They can also check on power outages in their area by viewing the company's online outage maps. Customers should have their Con Edison account number available, if possible, and report whether their neighbors also have lost power.
