Con Edison Honors Employees For Living Company’s Values

Consolidated Edison Inc. (Con Edison) bestowed its highest employee honor, the "Living Our Values" award, on six employees at the company’s annual business conference last night. This award is given to Con Edison men and women who exemplify the company’s values of service, honesty, concern, courtesy, teamwork, and excellence. Con Edison created the "Living Our Values" award eight years ago to recognize and honor the values and work ethic of outstanding employees who consistently serve as role models. "These award winners are not just exemplary employees, they are exemplary people. Their contributions reach beyond the workplace and into their communities," said Eugene R. McGrath, chairman, president and CEO of Consolidated Edison Inc., who presented the awards.. The winners of this year’s awards come from many different organizations throughout the company and are selected on a variety of criteria that look at their contributions both on the job and in the community. The employees are: David Burke, senior field operator, Bronx/ Westchester Electric Operations, Con Edison; Wilton Cedeno, senior system operator, System and Transmission Operations, Con Edison; Orlando Hernandez, systems manager, Information Technology, Con Edison Solutions; Helen Hughes, senior customer service representative, Major Accounts Corporate Customer Group, Con Edison; Daniel Hunt, manager, Substation Operations, Orange and Rockland Utilities, and Gerard Pilate, senior specialist, Maintenance Services, Con Edison.
