Con Edison Declares Common Stock Dividend

NEW YORK, NY, Oct 18, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Consolidated Edison, Inc. (Con Edison) (NYSE: ED) today declared a
quarterly dividend of 58 cents a share on its common stock, payable
December 15, 2007, to stockholders of record as of November 14, 2007.
