Con Edison CEO to Participate in Merrill Lynch Power and Gas Leader's Conference

NEW YORK, Sep 15, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Consolidated Edison, Inc. (Con Edison) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Eugene R. McGrath will participate in a panel discussion titled, "Delivering the Juice," at the Merrill Lynch Power and Gas Leader's conference on Thursday, September 18, 2003. McGrath will discuss how Con Edison has remained focused on the basics of the utility business -- delivering energy reliably to its customers. The presentation will be Webcast from New York City at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
