Con Edison Responds To Outage Affecting 14,000 Staten Island Customers
NEW YORK – Con Edison crews are responding to an outage affecting 14,000 customers in the Dongan Hills, Grasmere, Rosebank, Tompkinsville, Clifton, Emerson Hill, Oakwood, Grant City and New Dorp communities of Staten Island. Originally, approximately 16,000 customers had lost their power, but 2,000 were restored quickly.

The outage began at approximately 4:15 p.m. due to downed wires.

Customers without power should call 1-800-75-CONED.

Con Edison crews are working to restore service.
